A look back at the photo exhibition held in Lyon in July 2025

The Imag'in Gallery, located in Lyon, France, hosted the exhibition “Annapurna, North and South Faces, Himalayan Contrasts.” Through his photographs, Sundar Thapa Magar offered us a glimpse into the two faces of a giant mountain range. Two worlds, two atmospheres, two ways of living and resisting, separated by a few kilometers of rock and ice, but united by the same sacred mountain.

I have always been fascinated by nature, its movements, cycles and transformations, to which I feel fundamentally attached. I have also been fascinated by philosophical and spiritual questions, in perpetual search of my true nature. So, naturally I turned into yoga. Or rather... yoga revealed itself to me.

Magar Adventure: A story born of a passion for the Himalayas

Launching a project is always an adventure. And when that project takes root in the majestic mountains of Nepal and aims to connect trekkers to the landscapes, peoples of Nepal and their cultures, it takes on an even more special dimension. It was with this vision that Magar Adventure, our small trekking agency, was born.
